Just a small rant to ask -
Why do schools insist on giving the keys to computer rooms to only the part-time staff who don't turn up until halfway through the day? Surely it would make sense to give them to the full-time staff, who are actually there, and as such can bother to open the room? And why is the only non-part-timer they decide to give the keys to happen to be the evil scary caretaker guy? Why?

Maybe they're just a bit silly. Or maybe it's a health and safety type conspiracy! I can just see it now! "Oh no! We must limit the amount of times students spend on our computers, or they will sue us for slightly damaging their eyesight, even though the cause is likely to be in fact something else!" I really hate the current "no-one is smart enough to know sensible limits so we must regulate everything until it no longer exists-type state"! Gaaah!

(In case you didn't notice, our schools a bit evil).
